Natural hierarchies

Just earlier I harshly pulled a leaf from a tree and immediately felt sorry about my act. In the meanwhile wondering how it came that my consciousness played up? Can't a man pull a leaf from a tree and not feel sorry about it? While studying the leaf I noticed a green fluorescent insect of the sort I guess is as globally spread as human-kind itself. I felt sorry for that insect as well I neatly placed the leaf on a grass field. But I shouldn't should I? There is a hierarchy in nature, with human beings on top.

Back to Belgium

There seems to be a new vibe in Flanders'land. The last couple of years the idea was that its counterpart region Wallonia was like the sad husband sweaty feed up the seat ignoring our staggering beauty. A divorce was the only possible solution. Even a flirt with our top neighbour made us think, hell yea, let that Dutch yonk seduce us.



These days, you hear the complete opposite regularly. Them Frenchies aren't that bad at all. Belgium is a wonderfully odd country, with a strange mix of heavy drinking, hard working chararicatures. Good food, great artists, fabulous design.

When I googled for the total numbers of web sites I stumbled upon this graph:



Nothing new here but the fact that Google is player here as well struck me. If you google Google GFE yourself notice there aren't that many hits. On Netcraft where I got this graph it states:
"GFE is the server found on Blogger sites at blogspot.com, while Google uses GWS (Google Web Server) on some other services, although none with the volume of hostnames seen at Blogger." Heresay, I am not the one to blame.
